With their third album, the Ellis Mano Band are primarily targeting an audience whose stylistic tastes overlap with their personal favourites: Tedeschi Trucks Band, John Mayer, The Black Crowes, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Led Zeppelin - names with an international reputation. Handmade, down-to-earth rock plus pointedly placed blues particles, without fashionable frills - but still fresh and unspent - that is their trademark. The eleven songs with their dramaturgically skilful arcs of suspense are above all versatile.
