The pair combine guitars, piano sounds and an eclectic selection of electronica sounds with instantly memorable vocal hooks. They write about their personal experiences, and those of the people they’ve met along the way to create songs that resonate and provide a cathartic release for the listener. Moving to Manchester immersed them in its thriving music scene, opening them up to new ideas. However, it was heading to nearby Paris to write with Grammy, Brit and Ivor Novello-winning James Sanger on their self-titled debut album – his previous work with acts such as

Faithless and Brian Eno opening up a new dimension to Demons Of Ruby Mae’s sound. Production came from Dan Willett at Univibe in Birmingham. Jonny and Adam’s musical chops have seen them support the likes of Kula Shaker, Supergrass, Macy Gray and The Magic Numbers. Their songwriting has been synced on TV shows such as Suits and included in Shazam’s ‘Watch List’ chart.
